I am one of those mothers who uses bribes on my children. Lately we have been struggling with Ayden staying in his bed. I don't think he even realizes that he is getting up but he comes into our room in the middle of the night, climbs over Wes and gets under the covers. Wes usually just leaves him there. It bothers me when he is there so I pick him up and take him back to his bed. This happens anywhere from 1 time to 3 times a night. It is getting old. So, the other day, Wes brought home carmel Cadberry eggs. Ayden loved it. I told him if he stayed in bed all night he got another one. This has worked for 5 days. It has been great. Last night, he did come in our bed again. This morning, I told him he didn't get the egg and he doesn't know that he came in the room. He thinks he stayed in his room. I am not sure what to do with him.
We also continue to have the battle with food. I do not think we will have that problem with Briana. She eats whatever you give her and gets mad when it is all gone. I thought if I told Ayden that Briana is eating better than him he would start eating more. He just wants to give her his food now. It makes them both happy. I keep telling myself that one day he will eat.

Macaroni and cheese
Yesterday was a big day for Ayden. First, when he went potty at Grandmas house he was super excited that he made a letter like in mommy's name. The night before we were writing on a calendar with the first letters in our names. A for Ayden, W for Wes, S for Sara, and B for Briana. Ayden did a great job of writing the letters except for W which he wrote an M. Every time he sees an A he says it is for Ayden. Now every time he sees an S it is for Sara even if it is the S in the toilet:)
Then for dinner last night, he ate macaroni and cheese and meatloaf. He even asked for seconds on the macaroni and cheese. He said, "I like this macaroni." It is amazing what you like when you try food.
Briana has added peas to her list of foods she loves. Last night, she tried to add macaroni and cheese when she pulled her daddy's plate toward her. Luckily daddy caught it in time and she didn't get to try it.

Picky eater
I know this may sound so minor, but my son the extremely picky eater has started to branch out. He is a child who loves any fruit, chicken nuggets, french fries, and chips. On Friday, he ate manicotti without being forced. On Saturday he ate turkey. On Monday he ate hamburger. Maybe someday he will eat like a typical kid or he might continue to be picky for the rest of his life.
