Haircut

Briana and Bernie after the haircut is done.
Almost done. Just have to even it out.

Almost done with the one side.

The first cut.

Yesterday I took Briana to get her haircut. She did really well. She was fine as long as she could chew on my finger. It is nice to now be able to see her eyes. She looks so much older now. They grow up so fast. Ayden just enjoyed touching everything on the tree while I was trying to get Briana to sit still.

Macaroni and cheese

Yesterday was a big day for Ayden. First, when he went potty at Grandmas house he was super excited that he made a letter like in mommy's name. The night before we were writing on a calendar with the first letters in our names. A for Ayden, W for Wes, S for Sara, and B for Briana. Ayden did a great job of writing the letters except for W which he wrote an M. Every time he sees an A he says it is for Ayden. Now every time he sees an S it is for Sara even if it is the S in the toilet:)

Then for dinner last night, he ate macaroni and cheese and meatloaf. He even asked for seconds on the macaroni and cheese. He said, "I like this macaroni." It is amazing what you like when you try food.

Briana has added peas to her list of foods she loves. Last night, she tried to add macaroni and cheese when she pulled her daddy's plate toward her. Luckily daddy caught it in time and she didn't get to try it.

My Cute little poodle

Don't you just love the pirate costume. I made the hat all by myself. Amy made the rest.

Green Beans

Well, I have finally found something my child does not like. Oh, the faces she made when she was given the green beans. She would purse her lips. She kept eating it. It was almost like she thought something else would be on the spoon. I went out and got her some more squash so she can have the green beans with the squash mixed. Hopefully this will be to her satisfaction.

Snowy morning

So today we woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground. As we pull out of the driveway, Ayden says, "Hey, there is snow on the ground. Well, a little bit of snow. Not really enough to do anything." He just cracks me up some days. He is really ready to go outside and play in the snow. I am sure Briana would like the snow too. Although she will want to eat it. She wants to eat anything she can get her hands on. Last night, she tried to drink out of my glass. She had both hands on the glass and tried to make it to her mouth. She kept hitting her nose instead of her mouth. She was not a happy camper. She really wanted that milk. We will not have the same problems with eating as we do with Ayden. She will probably eat until we take the food away. Tomorrow I am going to try green beans so we will see how that goes.

Picky eater

I know this may sound so minor, but my son the extremely picky eater has started to branch out. He is a child who loves any fruit, chicken nuggets, french fries, and chips. On Friday, he ate manicotti without being forced. On Saturday he ate turkey. On Monday he ate hamburger. Maybe someday he will eat like a typical kid or he might continue to be picky for the rest of his life.
